ClarinetFest 2013

July is here, and SCQ is looking forward to attending ClarinetFest2013 later in the month in Assisi, Italy. This is the annual convention of the International Clarinet Association, and the artist’s roster includes some very illustrious names! We’re extremely happy to have been invited to perform, and will be taking a programme of Scottish-themed music including the world premières of a new commission – Francine Trester’s ‘Many Miles Away…’  – and a new arrangement of Judith Weir’s ‘Sketches from a Bagpiper’s Album’, made by quartet member Alex South.
