Bach to Benny Goodman

The Scottish Clarinet Quartet return to the Edinburgh Fringe to present the much-loved music of JS Bach, reimagined for multiple clarinets and infused with swing jazz, funk and improvisation. Works include JS Bach: Air on the G String, Mark-Anthony Turnage: A Deviant Fantasy (after Bach’s Pièce d’Orgue), and Alec Templeton: Bach Goes to Town! ‘Making its mark through the vision of its commissioning… the virtuosity of the playing’ (Herald).
