Concert Programmes

From Bach to Benny Goodman

J.S. Bach’s famous and stunningly powerful works transcribed and arranged for mixed clarinet ensemble; from the organ Prelude and Fugue in D major BWV532, via the Air on the G String (with a twist!), to modern tributes to the great composer by Benny Goodman and Mark-Anthony Turnage.

Around the World in Eighty Minutes

A programme exploring the versatility of the clarinet and its ability to perform in a truly global range of musical styles, featuring finger-blurring folk works from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Composers include Astor Piazzolla, Dave Brubeck and Mike Curtis, for a lively concert of Tango, Jazz and Klezmer.

Five Centuries of Classics

Our conservatoire-trained musicians perform well-known masterworks spanning five centuries of the western classical tradition, including Mozart’s sparkling overture from the Marriage of Figaro, Handel’s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, and Borodin’s lushly romantic Notturno.
